This shirt is hand crafted using official William Morris 'Compton' fabric. The pattern is of beautiful, autumnal foliage, with small flowers and leaves winding around each other.
William Morris has been a great inspiration to clothing designers over the years and his other-wordly designs continue to fascinate.
The Compton kaftan has a stand up mandarin style collar and slightly flared sleeves. It has been designed to have a sleek slim fit which accentuates the waist and produces a flattering, contemporary outline. The collars on these kaftans are designed to be larger that normal shirts, to ensure a more comfortable fit.
