Inspiration

The bohemian fashions of the late 1960s have been our main source of inspiration when designing our shirts and kaftans. During this period many musicians and creatives became enamored with the music and style of the Far East, and could often be seen wearing paisley printed kaftans and beads whilst walking down Carnaby Street. The designs of William Morris also became very popular among the psychedelic dandies of London, no doubt inspiring a certain Kinks song...

We have paid attention to the kind of shirts and kaftans bands like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Small Faces and others were wearing and have made it our goal to recreate that feel and look, in some cases using almost identical fabrics.
